Shepherd School of Ministry is to prepare pastoral-level leadership for churches. It is a four-year accredited Bible institute that meets every Saturday from September through May. In order to enter Shepherd School of Ministry the applicant must: 1) be involved in ministry within Lawrence Life Fellowship, 2) acquire pastoral approval, and 3) successfully complete Discipleships 1 and 2.
In Shepherd School , mastering God’s word and ministry to the world go hand in hand.
We have three primary ministry objectives.
-
Instruction - To impart knowledge of God’s Word that leads to a responsible following of God’s will as a valuable basis for ministry.
-
Comprehension - To impart an understanding of God’s plan that leads to an accountable following of God’s ways as a viable philosophy of ministry.
-
Action - To apply the knowledge of God’s Word and the understanding of God’s plan in the functioning of God’s church to lead an army for evangelism, discipleship, and missions.
